A collection of antique dealers on Long Island struggle with the vanishing, transient nature of their trade -and try and find a home for a giant, taxidermy grizzly bear.

What's the deal?

"Dealers" is a feature film being made in Huntington, about Huntington, by the people from Huntington. "Dealers" is a dark comedy that follows the lives and antics of a group of antique dealers trying to get by in an ever changing world while clinging to -and selling- the past. We’ve proudly partnered with the Cinema Arts Center to help us raise the monies needed to make this film -why they've taken a shine to us is anyone's guess. More about these wonderful people below.

Who's in this thing?

The film is being directed by Huntington's very own, Daniel Moya (18 1/2) and produced in conjunction with Thaler Films, Huntingtonian filmmakers for over thirty years. Several actors are already attached to the project, but it needs to be a surprise, so join our mailing list and I’ll let you know when they let me. The mission of the Cinema Arts Centre is to bring the best in cinematic artistry to Long Island, and use the power of film to expand the awareness and consciousness of our community. Dealers is a feature length film, but many of the individuals who inspired parts have their very own documentary shorts.
